LOS ANGELES (AP) -- In an arena stuffed with celebrities, Lamar Odom was the best actor of all.
Pretending his aching lower back felt better than it did, Odom had 19 points and 14 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 103-94 Wednesday night and take a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference finals.
"I had to suck it up," he said. "I took it like a man. I haven't been playing well. My back's just been to the wall. Put my focus cap on. Came out and just went for it."
